The Adventure
Explore the wonders of America’s Southwest, also known as Color Country. Through the eons the wind and water’s harsh power has created the red-rock formations, deep canyons and towering cliffs. Come with us as we discover an enormous geological playground including nature’s intricate forms and brilliant colors.
Our student program is perfect for every activity and ability level. On touring days student can choose from two levels of hikes in the National Parks.
Moderate: Easy walks and or park bus tours with guided interpretation perfect for all ability levels
Adventure: More adventurous hikes with guided interpretation over varying terrain and elevation
Education & Guiding: All tours are accompanied by our full-time naturalists and educators who bring to life the natural wonders, geology, ecology, Native American history and so much more!

Itinerary
Our adventures are designed to balance exploration and comfort, featuring a variety of immersive experiences including national park walking tours, scenic bus routes, guided hikes, and thrilling off-road jeep and 4×4 desert adventures. As the sun sets, gather for outdoor nature and wildlife programming beneath star-filled skies, where the stillness of the desert brings the landscape to life in a completely different way.
This unforgettable journey through the American Southwest combines adventure, education, and natural beauty—offering an exhilarating escape into one of the world’s most visually stunning and diverse regions.
Itinerary
Day 1 (Sun)
Pick up at Las Vegas airport – transfer to St. George, UT (approx. 1.5 hr. drive). Arrive in St. George, hotel check in.
Afternoon Snow Canyon hike and National Park geological program after which we will return to the hotel for dinner. Evening orientation and introduction to the parks program.
Day 2 (Mon)
After breakfast we will depart for Zion National Park (approx. 1-hour drive). After arriving at Zion we will begin the hike with a stop for lunch in the field.
We will arrive back at the hotel in the late afternoon with some free time before dinner. After dinner we will have a Live Birds of Prey Educational program
Day 3 (Tues)
After an early breakfast we will depart for Bryce National Park (approx. 3-hr drive) *Bus ride will include National Park lectures from our naturalists and video presentations.
After we arrive at Bryce, we begin our hike with stop for lunch in the field. Sample hikes include Navajo Loop, Queens Garden & Sunrise Point.
After our hike we depart for St. George with a stop at Ruby’s for shopping.
We will arrive back at the hotel for dinner. In the evening, there will be a Comparative Religion Program (with LDS local student groups) or Desert Astronomy Program.
Day 4 (Wed)
After breakfast we depart for Kanarra Falls (approx. 45-min drive). Our water hikes will take us through narrow slot canyons, stream walks and waterfalls with a ladder climb. We will have a stop for lunch in the field. We then continue to Sandy Hollow Lake & Dunes for an afternoon of paddleboarding, kayaking, a water sports tower and beach volleyball.
We will return to the hotel for dinner and evening free time.
Day 5 (Thurs)
After breakfast we will depart for the airport.
